This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Arabic language learning using the al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik (ABY) textbook at Dayah Ruhul Qur’ani Meulaboh. The research employed a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach, conducted in Class X A of the science stream during April 2024. Data were collected through observation, documentation, interviews, and tests, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that the use of the ABY textbook is effective in enhancing students’ Arabic language skills, especially in speaking. Students are able to communicate using formal Arabic (fushha) and explain studied topics fluently. This success is supported by qualified instructors and adequate learning facilities. Therefore, ABY is highly recommended as a primary reference for communicative Arabic language teaching.
