Actinomycetes are a group of gram-positive bacteria that can be found in various ecosystems with different conditions of humidity, pH, and temperature. A number of studies have shown that actinomycetes from terrestrial, marine, wetland, and as endophytes in plants have the ability to produce bioactive compounds that are antimicrobial. The purpose of this study was to determine the antagonistic ability of actinomycetes isolates from the rhizosphere of corn plants against pathogenic molds. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach with the first stage of rhizosphere soil sampling determined based on 3 sampling points in corn fields in Pahu village, Asparaga sub-district, Gorontalo district using the Purposive Sampling method, namely by determining the sampling point based on the slope of the land (top, middle, and bottom), the second stage is isolation and purification, and the third stage where in vitro antagonistic testing is carried out using the cross 'y' method. Based on the results of the study, 7 types of actinomycetes isolates were successfully isolated and identified. The seven isolates were tested for antagonistic ability with the pathogenic mold Fusarium oxysporum. Based on the antagonistic ability test, it was identified that the actinomycetes isolates coded RFZm-Pg, RFZm-Pb, and RFZm-Plg were able to inhibit the growth of the pathogenic mold Fusarium oxysporum by 88.93%, 88.18%, and 84.89%, which is included in the very high category. Furthermore, isolates with the code RFZm-Pw also showed significant inhibitory activity, with a percentage inhibition of 66.38%, which is categorized in high inhibition, while actinomycetes isolates RFZm-Po, RFZm-Py, and RFZm-Pr did not show any inhibition ability against pathogenic molds.
